This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assist in the due diligence process for acquiring physician practices and medical care centers.
• Prepare and verify billing information, management accounts, annual financial reports, and personnel expenses.
• Construct and maintain valuation and transaction models.
• Aid the SPA process by managing the data room, coordinating questions and answers, and liaising with advisors and counterparties.
• Convert target assumptions into post-closing integration strategies and monitor actual performance.
• Create materials for debt, acquisition financing, and equity transactions.
• Address inquiries from banks and investors.
• Enhance group and entity-level planning regarding liquidity, profit and loss, and working capital.
• Generate monthly management reports, including budget versus actual and variance analysis.
• Develop key performance indicators at the site and entity level, such as revenue per practice location, contribution margins, personnel cost ratios, and utilization rates.
• Collaborate with accounting and tax advisors during the month-end closing process.
• Contribute to the development of process documentation, reporting standards, and automation.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Transaction Services, M&A, Corporate Finance, consulting, or financial roles within a high-growth company.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
• Confident in managing large, unstructured datasets.
• Strong analytical skills paired with practical execution in streamlined environments.
• Fluent in German for business communication.
• Proficient in English.
• Experience in healthcare, outpatient care, medical care centers, statutory health insurance systems, or EBM/HZV billing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with buy-and-build or roll-up strategies is a plus.
• Knowledge of BI and reporting tools such as Power BI and Looker, along with SQL, Python, DATEV, and multi-entity structures is beneficial.
• Experience with AI tools like Claude is an added advantage.
