This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create insightful and thought-provoking research on compliance and ethics for publication.
• Provide essential insights into executive-level priorities for global enterprises.
• Assist in client discussions by addressing complex challenges and offering strategic recommendations.
• Investigate the transformation and optimization of compliance functions.
• Evaluate how evolving regulatory landscapes impact business models and operations.
• Formulate risk strategies and frameworks for managing compliance and regulatory risks.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance compliance risk assessments and monitoring processes.
• Interact with clients through phone, video calls, and occasionally present at Gartner events.
• Produce actionable and insightful research tailored for Chief Compliance Officers.
• Monitor advancements in compliance programs while collaborating with internal experts and clients.
• Provide thoughtful responses to media inquiries as needed.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
• Most recently held a position as a deputy or divisional chief compliance officer or senior compliance leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, international studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred post-graduate degree in law or economics.
• Proven experience advising leadership teams and boards of directors on compliance priorities.
• Skilled in integrating both quantitative and qualitative data into executive-ready narratives and recommendations.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience with Legal, ERM, Finance, or Internal Audit teams.
• Familiarity with conducting compliance risk assessments and reporting findings.
• Background in monitoring and analyzing changes in regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in supporting corporate governance initiatives.
• Proficient in designing, implementing, and enhancing enterprise compliance frameworks, including policies, procedures, training, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Capability to navigate and excel in a highly matrixed work environment.
• Willingness to provide flexible working hours as needed for Gartner’s global clientele.
• Ability to travel occasionally for team offsites and Gartner conferences (less than 10% of the year).
