This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in Business Development and Capture initiatives throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Aid in qualification, shaping, positioning, and readiness of proposals.
• Collect customer and market intelligence via research, customer interactions, and industry events.
• Oversee internal BD and pipeline calls, coordinating weekly meetings with capture consultants and the executive team.
• Prepare and circulate agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up actions for capture and partner meetings.
• Manage email and LinkedIn communications directed at partners and customers.
• Create pitch decks, capability briefs, white papers, one-pagers, and capability matrices; monitor their distribution and responses.
• Assist in preparing background materials and talking points for executive meetings.
• Oversee the opportunity pipeline, perform opportunity research, and facilitate Go/No-Go discussions with necessary documentation.
• Review change documents to compare current and previous solicitations, summarizing key differences.
• Act as the primary contact for IDIQ vehicles and maintain organized records in SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Contracts to establish new SIN opportunities under GSA vehicles.
• Keep track of priorities, procurement forecasts, industry trends, and customer activities.
• Identify emerging opportunities and evaluate their alignment with capabilities and growth objectives.
• Assist in customer outreach efforts and participate in meetings, conferences, and industry events as necessary.
• Contribute to internal knowledge management, lessons learned, and best practices in capture.
• Work collaboratively across business development, operations, recruiting, and proposal teams.
• 3-5 years of professional experience supporting Federal customers, programs, or accounts.
• Experience in business development, capture, program management, or related growth-oriented roles within the federal market.
• Knowledge of FAR regulations pertaining to proposal and capture management to guide teams through government contracting processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and sustain professional relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and an eagerness to take on more capture and business development responsibilities.
• Preferred: experience in federal capture efforts, proposal development, or opportunity shaping activities.
• Preferred: military service or experience supporting military clientele.
• Preferred: familiarity with CRM and opportunity tracking tools.
• Preferred: experience in supporting federal proposals, capture efforts, or opportunity identification initiatives.
