This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and implement OUAI’s global brand voice, including the creation of campaign copy.
• Generate copy for various channels such as product, marketing, brand, retail, digital, email, SMS, paid social, Amazon, and DTC.
• Serve as the in-house copy specialist for global product-focused and marketing/brand copy.
• Follow the brand book closely to ensure that all external outputs align with brand guidelines and reflect OUAI’s essence.
• Coordinate with Product, Digital, and Sales stakeholders to ensure campaign and launch messaging is aligned.
• Produce comprehensive copy documents and messaging guidelines.
• Create and maintain global master copy files.
• Manage copy assets and ensure materials are up-to-date.
• Share copy information with the organization and external partners as necessary.
• Design presentations for internal stakeholders and retailer meetings.
• Uphold OUAI’s brand voice in retail through research and analysis.
• Collaborate with the digital team to craft copy that enhances messaging and boosts conversion rates.
• Report directly to the Creative Director.
• Proven experience in writing for the consumer goods, beauty, or related industries with demonstrable work examples.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, particularly in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience is preferred.
• A self-starter who is a clear communicator, creative writer, and has a passion for grammar.
• Enthusiastic about storytelling and maintaining a consistent, cohesive brand voice.
• Capable of thinking strategically while also paying attention to fine details.
• Experience in crafting language for product packaging, product descriptions, and brand marketing channels.
• Proficient in writing across diverse marketing platforms with a strong grasp of the landscape.
• Ability to translate business priorities into engaging messaging for consumers.
• Experience in conceptualizing and managing projects from inception to completion.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Receptive to feedback and focused on solutions.
• Quick to iterate on ideas.
• A strategic, innovative, and creative thinker willing to push boundaries.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Asana.
• Proficient in using Slack and Figma.
• Temporary position to cover a leave within the team.
• Hourly compensation ranging from $60.00 to $75.00 per hour.
• Start Date: October 13th, 2026.
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 35+ hours per week.
