This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Translate, copy-edit, and conduct MTPE for marketing, UI, product, support, informational, and legal materials.

• Contribute to a long-term project with a prominent multinational corporation.

• Manage an anticipated workload of over 5,000 words per week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Malay.

• Strong command of the English language.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional translation experience, backed by a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related discipline, or over 5 years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.

• Proven experience in translating from English to Malay across various content types including informational, marketing, UI, product, and support materials.

• Familiarity with CAT tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• A demonstrated ability to produce high-quality translations while adhering to deadlines in a dynamic localization setting.

• Strong communication abilities, responsiveness, reliability, and a willingness to accept feedback and revisions.
