Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and oversee product titles, bullet points, and descriptions across various product listings.

• Transform brand messaging and product unique selling propositions (USPs) into content that is optimized for keywords and relevant to shoppers, driving performance.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of brand content with client and platform-specific guidelines.

• Generate copy for Amazon and/or comparable ecommerce marketplaces for a toy brand catering to both children and adults.

• Work in collaboration with project managers to guarantee timely and precise content delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess the ability to write proficiently in US English.

• A minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience in the retail or online marketplace ecommerce sector.

• Proven experience with Amazon or similar marketplaces such as Walmart or Tesco.

• In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword/shopper intent, and ecommerce search behavior.

• Capability to identify and rectify inconsistencies, enhance ecommerce copy readability, tailor messaging to specific product categories, and adhere to brand tone.

• Comfortable working with structured content templates and authoring tools.

• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of how minor adjustments can influence performance.

• Demonstrated ability to work alongside project managers for timely and accurate content delivery.

• Experience in integrating SEO keywords into product copy is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with IP partner guidelines is considered a plus.

• Experience working with global brands or managing content across international marketplaces is preferred.

• A background in retail/Amazon marketplaces, digital marketing, SEO optimization, content creation, copywriting, or digital communications is preferred.

• Significant experience in creating product copy for the toy industry is preferred.

• Practical SEO research experience using tools such as Semrush and Helium is advantageous but not mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is requested in the application questions.
