Copilot Solutions Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create applications using PowerApps alongside Dataverse, Power Automate, Excel, Forms, and SharePoint Online.

• Utilize various built-in connectors with Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Design and implement Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions that integrate with Teams, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and enterprise systems.

• Construct and operate AI-assisted solutions utilizing Claude locally outside the Microsoft 365 environment.

• Integrate adaptive cards, variables, triggers, connectors, and API integrations within Copilot Studio solutions.

• Develop prompts, skills, and grounding/context strategies across Copilot and Claude.

• Engage in solution testing, validation, and quality assurance processes.

• Perform technical feasibility analyses and create solution design documentation along with user guides.

• Ensure adherence to Microsoft security, compliance, and governance standards, including Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and DLP policies.

• Implement stringent data-control measures for AI tools and ensure that sensitive and regulated data is managed in accordance with policy.

• Guide teammates, provide technical support, and address escalated issues arising from deployed solutions.

• Create documentation, user guides, and enablement resources to facilitate adoption and continuous improvement.

• Enhance development efforts based on user feedback.

• Remain updated on emerging features within the Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot.

• Assess and pilot new AI tools and platforms for relevance, value, compliance, and data-control alignment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Copilot Studio implementations.

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and client-focused teams on solution delivery and adoption.

• Take responsibility from solution development through to implementation, optimization, and adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline along with 1-2 years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated success in the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio solutions.

• Strong, practical knowledge of modern AI tools, particularly Microsoft Copilot and Claude (and similar tools), including their application in development, automation, and prompt engineering.

• Experience utilizing Claude locally (outside the Microsoft 365 environment) for AI-assisted development and automation.

• Good understanding of Teams, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and their integration points.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and third-party system integrations.

• Proficient in recognizing AI-driven optimization opportunities.

• Proven ability to work effectively within a regulated environment with strict data controls, balancing AI experimentation with compliance, governance, and data protection obligations.

• A genuine interest in exploring, testing, and adopting new AI tools and platforms.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience in integrating data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.

• Understanding of prompt engineering principles and LLM behavior; experience with RAG-based architectures is preferred.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.

• Capability to work independently in a remote-first environment while fostering strong relationships with coworkers.

• Proven ability to transform complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

• Previous experience with Microsoft or a Microsoft Gold/Cloud Solutions Partner is preferred.

• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, AI, or Copilot-related specialties are preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models for enterprise technology projects is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques is preferred.

• Experience in deploying and governing AI tools like Claude and other non-Microsoft models in regulated or data-sensitive environments is preferred.

• Work will be conducted in English.

• Candidates must reside in the United States, specifically in the Eastern Time Zone.
