Controls Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the execution of New Product Introduction engineering development initiatives throughout all stages of the Gas Power product lifecycle.

• Deliver program management execution for designated projects in alignment with GE Gas Power Program Managers Standard Work procedures.

• Develop and sustain both internal and external project timelines.

• Confirm resource allocations and oversee expenditures in accordance with the established plan.

• Direct internal and external teams through the NPI Development Process.

• Ensure compliance with engineering policies and procedures.

• Coordinate activities across engineering sub-functions to ensure timely project delivery that is complete, tested, and well-documented.

• Identify and manage program risks and their mitigations.

• Provide updates on program status and issues to engineering and commercial stakeholders.

• Supply spending reports and forecasts to Business Operations and Quality teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

• At least 8 years of experience in engineering or program/project management of engineered systems.

• Outstanding communication skills with the capability to interface effectively with leadership.

• Familiarity with GE Power project tracking tools, processes, and practices.

• Previous experience in electronic hardware or software development.

• Understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and customer service processes.

• Strong organizational abilities and project execution skills.

• Proven track record of working with or leading cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with global teams, including flexibility with time zones when needed.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
