Controls Engineer, Technical Support – Nights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in the support of moderately complex systems that combine hardware and software.

• Assist in the specification of materials, troubleshooting schematics, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

• Propose suggestions aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction.

• Offer troubleshooting expertise to Dematic's clientele.

• Be prepared to travel 20–30% to various customer sites, which may include weekends and overtime.

• Collaborate directly with customers remotely, utilizing schematics and PLC logic to identify and resolve issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 2 years of experience in a similar role providing Customer Service Support.

• Proficiency with Allen Bradley Logix PLC control platforms.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting controls hardware.

• Experience with Siemens and Modicon PLCs is advantageous.
