Controller Financiero

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Ensure accurate accounting in accordance with Chilean accounting and tax legislation, including SII regulations, payroll, and mandatory reports.

• Prepare the transition from local accounting to IFRS, including adjustments, account reconciliation, notes, and participation in the closing process.

• Develop and maintain managerial reports: Income Statement, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.

• Gather requests, create budgets, and monitor their execution.

• Prepare reports on variances between planned and actual figures, identify causes, and provide recommendations.

• Create the payment calendar, manage liquidity, and interact with banks.

• Coordinate with local accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.

• Support the management team in financial analysis and decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or administration.

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, management control, or accounting.

• Proven experience with Chilean accounting and tax legislation.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, modeling).

• Understanding of IFRS principles.

• Proficiency in Spanish, with a sufficient level to engage with local accounting and public agencies.

• Ability to structure and analyze financial information.

• High attention to detail and quality in execution.

• Proactive and results-oriented approach.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
