This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Oversee accounting and financial operations for Medaptus Solutions Inc.

• Supervise the month-end and quarter-end closing processes.

• Examine and interpret financial and management reports.

• Ensure adherence to corporate standards and procedures.

• Direct budgeting and financial planning initiatives.

• Manage financial activities, including invoicing and accounts receivable/payable.

• Assess complex software-contract revenue recognition according to IFRS 15, including WIP schedules.

• Review account reconciliations, analyze outcomes, and prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.

• Assist in monthly forecasting alongside business and operational leaders.

• Provide business analysis and support to business and operational teams.

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals.

• Maintain internal controls while identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Enhance and standardize finance processes.

• Prepare audit requests and address inquiries during audit reviews.

• Execute special projects and create ad hoc reports, including due diligence and acquisition integration.

• Accounting designation; CPA is preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting.

• Experience in a technology-driven environment is advantageous.

• Proficient knowledge of Excel is essential.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and applications under IFRS.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Great Plains, and BPC consolidation software is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
