Contracts Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate procurement contracts, encompassing technology, security, and data privacy agreements.

• Ensure that contract provisions are consistent with company policies and risk appetite.

• Identify and address contractual, legal, and commercial risks proactively.

• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Security departments for thorough contract assessments.

• Work alongside internal teams and external partners to resolve any contract-related challenges.

• Maintain compliance with corporate policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulatory standards.

• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Security, and business units to align contract strategies with organizational objectives and operational requirements.

• Oversee agreements from initiation to execution utilizing contract management tools and systems.

• Assist with post-signature contract evaluations and vendor performance oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in managing commercial contracts within Procurement, Sourcing, or a Commercial Legal framework.

• Knowledge of SaaS, cybersecurity, internet infrastructure, OEM suppliers, and marketing technology solutions is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate intricate commercial agreements with accuracy and thoroughness.

• Familiarity with commercial contract law, data security, and privacy legislation.

• Capacity to evaluate risks, propose innovative solutions, and deliver sound business advice.

• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities, with a talent for fostering effective cross-functional relationships.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
