Contracts and Commercial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Formulate a comprehensive commercial and contracting strategy.

• Assist in negotiations for contracts with OEMs and EPC contractors.

• Create commercial documentation for OEMs.

• Generate commercial documentation for EPC tenders.

• Aid the Project Team in analyzing commercial proposals, pinpointing essential decision criteria, evaluating contractual and commercial trade-offs, and formulating recommendations for management decision-making.

• Establish bidder evaluation methodologies and scoring matrices.

• Facilitate clarification meetings with bidders.

• Assess commercial offers and identify any discrepancies.

• Examine payment structures, guarantees, penalties, liquidated damages, and warranties.

• Provide guidance on claim strategies.

• Offer advice on the commercial structure of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA).

• Review claims, variations, and change management processes.

• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations in line with lender requirements and FIDIC principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field.

• Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Manager in a minimum of 2 Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects.

• Prior experience in the power plant sector in Eastern Europe, working under FIDIC principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
