Contracts Analyst, Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist the Account Manager with foundational payer contracting, negotiations, and inquiries related to contracting.

• Guide clients throughout the payer contracting process, covering contract terms, fees, negotiations, and implementation.

• Support efforts to achieve optimal reimbursement rates.

• Ensure timely renewals of contracts when applicable.

• Effectively communicate any changes in contracting.

• Stay informed about current trends in payer contracting.

• Aid in establishing and diligently following payer contract processes for assigned clients, including price negotiations.

• Build and maintain professional and effective relationships with payers.

• Follow up on contracts that are open and due for review.

• Monitor contracts that have been finalized and require renewal or verification of current payer rates.

• Address open contracts that are delayed and escalate issues as necessary.

• Handle initial negotiation requests for open contracts.

• Manage payer relations concerning contracting issues.

• Oversee internal matters related to contracting.

• Adhere to company values, email etiquette, and cultural norms while delivering client services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent education.

• Two years of experience in a US-based medical billing practice or two years in a medical practice involving billing functions, such as provider credentialing, authorizations, reimbursement, etc., preferably with some experience in Behavioral Health.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

• Capable of planning and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Excellent reading comprehension.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.

• Comprehensive understanding of internet navigation.

• Must have personal computer and internet access.
