This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with high-performing providers and vendors.

• Lead intricate provider negotiations.

• Enhance strategic partnerships.

• Support goals related to affordability and network adequacy.

• Act as a senior expert in contracting.

• Negotiate contracts with vendors or providers and oversee implementations and ongoing relationships.

• Conduct market research and analysis.

• Define, initiate, and direct financial analyses and operational reporting for vendor and provider agreements assigned.

• Lead, manage, and monitor the ongoing financial and operational success of designated partnerships.

• Develop and implement corrective action plans or modifications to agreements when necessary.

• Coordinate with local health plans and relevant internal teams.

• Facilitate meetings with health plans and corporate teams, including executive management, to review performance data, scorecards, and partnership strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 8 years of experience in vendor and/or provider contract negotiations, contract analysis, and/or modeling within the healthcare or similar industry.

• Proven experience in negotiating contracts that yield successful outcomes and measurable financial results.

• Proficient in presenting and communicating negotiation strategies and outcomes at senior levels.

• Preferred experience with healthcare provider negotiations for pharmacy benefit management or managed care.

• Candidates are preferred to reside in Texas.
