Contract Negotiator III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Recruit medical professionals, hospital systems, and ancillary service providers to establish network participation agreements.

• Ensure that all documentation and information are thorough and adhere to Corporate, health plan, and State regulations.

• Develop and manage a network within a designated region and group of providers.

• Lead recruitment efforts for assigned physicians, hospitals, and ancillary services.

• Verify that all standard contracts are complete, accurate, and align with business objectives.

• Oversee provider setup and contract configuration to ensure proper claims processing.

• Initiate outreach and identify potential providers based on geographic and specialty requirements.

• Maintain and update the provider database.

• Collaborate with internal departments and contracted providers to ensure contract compliance is implemented and sustained.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zones of the U.S. to qualify for this remote position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or related fields within a hospital or physician’s office/group setting.

• Preferred knowledge of State and/or Federal health care programs, including Medicaid and Medicare.
