Contract Negotiation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Negotiate, execute, review, and analyze contracts while managing dispute resolution and settlement negotiations with providers.

• Oversee contract performance to support network quality, availability, and financial objectives.

• Recruit providers to meet network expansion and adequacy goals.

• Collaborate on provider compensation, pricing development, contractual information, negotiations, and reimbursement modeling activities.

• Identify cost-related issues and propose cost-saving initiatives along with settlement strategies.

• Develop, maintain, and refine strategies for cross-market network management.

• Assist in strategic network configuration, integration, and implementation processes.

• Enhance interactions with assigned providers and internal business partners.

• Address escalated issues related to claims payment, contract interpretation, and provider contract or demographic details.

• Interpret contractual obligations, including federal and state regulations and NCQA standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, encompassing competitor strategies, complex contracting options, financial and contracting arrangements, and regulatory compliance.

• At least 3 years of experience in provider relationship management or similar healthcare positions.

• Demonstrated expertise in contract management.

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of professional experience and education.

• Candidates located on the West Coast are highly preferred.
