Contract Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Deliver consecutive interpretation in the first person.

• Adhere to the protocols and procedures set by clients of Propio Language Services.

• Comply with Propio's policies regarding confidentiality of information and interpreter ethics.

• Continuously enhance vocabulary and specialized subject matter expertise relevant to medical, legal, social services, and related sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Provide an updated resume in English when submitting your application.

• Complete an English Language Proficiency assessment achieving a "technical proficiency" rating (3 or above on the nationally recognized ILR scale).

• Successfully finish a mock oral interpretation session and achieve a passing score based on 24 quality standards.

• Pass Propio's online assessment on Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology.

• Undergo a comprehensive background check and security screening.

• Sign a commitment to maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• A minimum of 1 year of interpreting experience is preferred.
