This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create new training courses for in-person or online delivery, from initial concept to final approved product.
• Evaluate, amend, refresh, or upgrade existing courses to align with evolving standards, regulations, technologies, or business requirements.
• Design training programs that encompass construction, industrial safety, oil and gas, equipment, regulatory compliance, emergency response, and safety management.
• Develop comprehensive course packages that include outlines, lesson plans, presentations, instructor guides, student materials, assessments, practical exercises, regulatory references, scripts, and visual recommendations.
• Build online courses using Articulate Rise 360, focusing on structure, interactions, assessments, and final publication.
• Conduct research to source current, accurate, and credible technical and regulatory information.
• Adhere to company curriculum templates, instructional standards, formatting guidelines, and principles of adult learning.
• Engage in project scoping, milestone evaluations, revisions, and final approval processes.
• Integrate feedback from operations leadership, internal reviewers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and designated stakeholders.
• Execute in-scope revisions at no additional cost while identifying out-of-scope changes for written consent.
• Ensure originality of work and disclose any third-party materials, licensed content, or other intellectual property.
• Assist VISTA’s review and revision processes prior to final acceptance.
• Proven technical or field expertise in pertinent areas such as construction, industrial safety, oil and gas, equipment, or workforce training subjects.
• Capability to convert technical knowledge into well-organized, comprehensible training content.
• Demonstrated experience in developing instructor-led or online training curricula.
• Proficiency in researching technical topics and collaborating with qualified SMEs.
• Familiarity with adult-learning principles, learning objectives, assessments, and instructional frameworks.
• Exceptional technical writing, research, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to independently manage projects and adhere to agreed timelines.
• Contractors may qualify based on technical subject-matter expertise, professional curriculum development experience, or a combination of both.
• Submission of relevant work samples is preferred but not mandatory.
• Industry certifications, instructional design credentials, train-the-trainer qualifications, or relevant professional designations are preferred.
