Contract Closeout Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct cost and price evaluations, including the assessment of financial reports and statements, to determine the final closeout costs for contracts.

• Review and refresh financial and administrative records to ensure contract closeouts comply with government regulations and policies.

• Collaborate with project managers to guarantee that all requirements are fulfilled and necessary documentation is submitted.

• Prepare and present final invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approval, and necessary signatures.

• Review and confirm contract modifications and adjustments, ensuring proper changes and accurate documentation.

• Ensure that subcontracts and purchase orders are terminated correctly and that outstanding issues are resolved.

• Ensure that the custody and accountability of government property are properly transferred or disposed of in accordance with government regulations.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract closeout or financial analysis.

• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it pertains to contracting and procurement.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
