Contract Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire contracting process from inception to completion.

• Evaluate and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts.

• Prepare contracts as necessary.

• Handle healthcare business-related agreements and contracts, including IT, services, equipment, product acquisitions, purchasing, capital expenditures, maintenance, clinical partnerships, patient transfers, and professional services.

• Administer the complete contract lifecycle from initial assessment through to expiration or termination.

• Ensure all contracts align with Hospital policies, accreditation standards, and applicable federal and state healthcare regulations.

• Utilize standard Hospital templates while negotiating vendor-supplied agreements.

• Review and negotiate contracts submitted by internal stakeholders.

• Achieve departmental goals for contract review turnaround times.

• Liaise with internal management and staff about contractual arrangements, business terms, and necessary information.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of healthcare contracting issues through training.

• Act as a subject matter expert by providing guidance on contractual terms and corporate contracting policies.

• Initiate and oversee special projects within the department.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

• A minimum of 5 years of contracting experience, including contract drafting.

• Proven expertise in contract negotiations.

• Proven capability in drafting contracts.

• Strong team collaboration skills.

• Ability to perform the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies required for the assigned unit or department.

• Preferred: Less than 1 year of paralegal or attorney experience.

• Preferred: Less than 1 year in a healthcare setting and/or experience drafting healthcare-related contracts.

• Preferred: Master's in Business Administration in business or a related field.
