Contract Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Review, prepare, and oversee preconstruction contracts along with associated documentation.

• Ensure that contracts are in alignment with the project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, tender documents, and Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Facilitate procurement by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

• Ensure that contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards.

• Identify potential risks and collaborate with project teams for their mitigation.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive preconstruction documentation.

• Coordinate with preconstruction teams, project managers, estimators, and legal teams to ensure a smooth transition to construction.

• Assist in the evaluation of project budgets and ensure contract terms are aligned with financial objectives.

• Support cost estimation initiatives.

• Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders during the preconstruction phase.

• Aid in negotiating terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers, as well as securing compliance documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 3 years of experience in contract administration, ideally within the construction sector.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and bidding processes.

• Proficient in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
