Contract Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Review, prepare, and oversee preconstruction contracts along with associated documentation.

• Ensure that contracts are in accordance with project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, tender documents, and requests for information (RFIs).

• Facilitate procurement processes by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

• Ensure compliance of contracts with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

• Identify potential risks and work collaboratively with project teams to address them.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive preconstruction documentation.

• Collaborate with the preconstruction team, project managers, estimators, and legal departments to transition projects into the construction phase.

• Aid in reviewing project budgets and ensure that contract terms align with financial objectives.

• Support cost estimation activities.

• Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders during the preconstruction phase.

• Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance documentation is obtained.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, ideally within the construction sector.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and bidding procedures.

• Proficient in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional attention to detail is essential.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
