Contract Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Review, prepare, and oversee preconstruction contracts along with associated documentation.

• Ensure that contracts are in alignment with the project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

• Assist in the development of bid proposals, tender documents, and Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Facilitate procurement activities by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

• Ensure compliance of contracts with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

• Identify potential risks and work alongside project teams to develop mitigation strategies.

• Maintain thorough and accurate preconstruction documentation.

• Collaborate with the preconstruction team, project managers, estimators, and legal teams to ensure smooth project transitions to the construction phase.

• Assist in reviewing project budgets and ensuring contract terms align with financial objectives.

• Support cost estimation initiatives.

• Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the preconstruction phase.

• Aid in the negotiation of terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in contracts administration, ideally within the construction sector.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and bidding practices.

• Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
