This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee, prepare, and manage preconstruction contracts along with associated documentation.

• Ensure that contracts are in line with the project's scope, timelines, and financial parameters.

• Prepare and evaluate bid proposals, tender documents, and Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Facilitate procurement by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

• Ensure compliance of contracts with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

• Identify potential risks and work alongside project teams to develop mitigation strategies.

• Maintain comprehensive and precise preconstruction documentation, including contracts, amendments, and correspondence.

• Collaborate with the preconstruction team, project managers, estimators, and legal departments to transition projects into the construction phase.

• Review project budgets and ensure contract terms are aligned with financial objectives.

• Assist in cost estimating activities.

• Act as a primary contact for clients and stakeholders during the preconstruction phase.

• Aid in negotiating terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Acquire necessary compliance documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in contracts administration, ideally within the construction sector.

• Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and bidding procedures.

• Proficient in project management software as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
