This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of the Connected Worker strategy, including a multi-year roadmap, enhancement procedures, and prioritization across manufacturing facilities.
• Identify and assess use cases that enhance safety, quality, productivity, reliability, compliance, and employee experience.
• Convert operational requirements into scalable digital solutions, deployment plans, and quantifiable improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Excellence, Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory and Analytical, Sanitation, and other relevant functions to integrate connected worker tools into standard operating procedures.
• Foster alignment among Plant Operations, Manufacturing Excellence, Information Technology, Digital Technology, Human Resources Technology, Procurement, vendors, and senior management.
• Influence stakeholders across various functions and locations to address trade-offs, establish ownership, and propel enterprise priorities forward.
• Act as the business owner for the Connected Worker platform and related frontline applications, including defect management capabilities when applicable.
• Create and sustain governance processes for roadmap intake, standards, deployment, training, support, issue resolution, adoption, data quality, and value realization.
• Specify business requirements and standards for mobile device usage, application readiness, refresh planning, and frontline user support.
• Collaborate with Information Technology, Procurement, vendors, and plant teams to eliminate obstacles and enhance mobile technology adoption.
• Direct the Connected Worker training strategy and work alongside plant champions, functional leaders, Human Resources, Learning, Information Technology, and vendors.
• Develop scalable training resources, communications, standard operating procedures, and enablement plans to support deployments and platform advancements.
• Lead vendor business reviews, roadmap discussions, enhancement prioritization, and performance evaluations.
• Benchmark against external organizations and industry practices to uncover future technology opportunities and best practices.
• Manage enterprise deployment planning and maintain adoption through ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Monitor adoption rates, training completion, user feedback, issue trends, and business impact to guarantee value realization and continuous optimization.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Willingness to travel 25-50%, depending on business needs.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in product management, manufacturing technology, digital transformation, operations, continuous improvement, training enablement, or related fields.
• Proven experience leading enterprise initiatives across multiple functions, locations, and stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions, product roadmaps, deployment strategies, and business cases.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with experience engaging frontline employees, operational leaders, functional partners, vendors, and senior executives.
• Experience in facilitating the adoption of frontline technology solutions, including training, change management, mobile device deployment, and support processes.
• Background in working with cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable business outcomes.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods settings.
• Preferred experience with Connected Worker solutions, digital manufacturing platforms, mobile technologies, vendor management, or business process transformation initiatives.
