This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute the company's social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, sentiment, social thought leadership, and marketing communications.
• Implement content creation, distribution, and evaluation processes that align with the social media content strategy.
• Design and carry out social media strategies and campaigns focused on brand storytelling and awareness initiatives.
• Manage corporate social media accounts and oversee the social media calendar.
• Cultivate social media communities to maximize reach, foster organic engagement, and drive earned growth.
• Strategize, create, and publish content aligned with business goals and user expectations.
• Apply best practices and adapt to evolving environments, technologies, and trends.
• Monitor and evaluate platform performance and sentiment, report insights, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with team members, leadership, and product teams.
• Provide support for crisis communications, media relations, external partnerships, and thought leadership when necessary.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a professional communications setting, focusing on content strategy and development, marketing, writing, and/or editing.
• At least 1-2 years of direct experience in a professional social media position.
• Practical experience with social media platforms and third-party tools for content management and social media analytics.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and strategic content planning abilities.
• Strong comprehension of how to translate brand strategy and storytelling into channel-specific content.
• Capable of collaborating on communication projects that involve multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience in ideating, writing, and editing web and/or blog articles within a professional context.
• Proficient in generating original ideas, taking the initiative, and accepting responsibility.
• Competent in independently developing and implementing strategies and tactics.
• Skilled in conducting topical research and producing or repurposing relevant content.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience and/or interest in the public sector and government.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
