📋 Description

• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business development goals, industry trends, and campaign aims.

• Supervise the creation, editing, and upkeep of website content, client alerts, thought leadership pieces, and overall firm messaging.

• Ensure that all content maintains a coherent, client-focused voice while adhering to brand and style standards.

• Discover opportunities to repurpose and amplify content across various digital platforms.

• Manage the production of audio and video content, including podcasts and video scripting, along with recording, editing, distribution, and promotion.

• Own and oversee the firm’s editorial calendar.

• Align content production efforts with strategic campaigns, industry events, and practice area priorities.

• Collaborate with the PR Manager to synchronize earned and owned media promotion efforts.

• Create integrated content plans in conjunction with business development and campaign leaders.

• Monitor timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.

• Supervise the production of practice, industry, and campaign one-pagers, pitch-related content, and materials for client engagement.

• Convert complex legal services into clear, benefit-oriented messaging.

• Maintain and update the firm’s content style guide.

• Establish and uphold editorial standards and review protocols.

• Provide guidance to attorneys and staff on best practices for written communication.

• Mentor and supervise a Marketing Specialist.

• Work collaboratively with digital, PR, and business development teams.

• Act as a liaison between attorneys and marketing to streamline content development and approval processes.

• Manage freelance writers or vendors as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Over 6 years of experience in legal, professional services, or B2B content marketing.

• Proven experience in developing and executing content strategies within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.

• Proficiency in translating technical subjects into clear, client-oriented messaging.

• Experience managing editorial calendars and coordinating content across various campaigns and channels.

• Strong grasp of brand voice, style guidelines, and content governance.

• Familiarity with SEO and GEO best practices, along with digital content optimization.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with attorneys, senior stakeholders, and team members.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing polished, professional work.

• Must reside in AZ, CA, DC, FL, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MN, MS, MO, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TX, VA, or WI.
