Korean Metadata Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality of both written and spoken content for services utilizing linguistic and geographical knowledge.

• Review and generate content for Music and TV applications.

• Collaborate effectively with international teams.

• Oversee and enhance the quality of client products and partner data integrations.

• Conduct quality assurance on products by meticulously adhering to testing instructions and test cases.

• Comply with project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, client-preferred checklists, and glossaries.

• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and timeliness.

• Efficiently prioritize tasks and issues promptly.

• Navigate uncertainty and make informed decisions.

• Achieve results in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level language proficiency and cultural awareness.

• Proficient in Korean.

• Demonstrated ability to sustain motivation and maintain focus through repetitive tasks.

• Highly detail-oriented with the capability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to learn from past experiences to avoid recurring mistakes.

• Comfortable making sound judgment calls amidst ambiguity.

• Extensive and current knowledge of local movies, TV shows, music, literature, social media platforms, cultural sensitivities, and nuances.

• Familiarity with advanced spreadsheets and XML is advantageous.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Passionate about and knowledgeable in the film and TV industry.

• May require work outside regular business hours, including weekends and holidays.
