This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the primary research liaison for Hanover’s Higher Education practice clients.
• Recognize distinct client requirements and convert them into clearly articulated research requests.
• Create tailored research projects on diverse topics for clients in Higher Education.
• Outline and stage intricate multi-phase projects to align with the Hanover model.
• Oversee education research projects utilizing various methodologies through Content Analysts and Research Associates.
• Review reports for content accuracy, structural integrity, and overall clarity to ensure quality control.
• Articulate and clarify Hanover’s methodologies and findings to clients.
• Collaborate with Account Management personnel to foster long-term relationships and guarantee client satisfaction.
• Offer researchers direction and constructive criticism on their assigned projects.
• Report directly to a Senior Content Director specific to the practice area.
• Strong expertise in primary, secondary, and quantitative methodologies and procedures.
• Willingness to address complex and often unfamiliar research inquiries.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple short and long-term projects to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in proofreading and editing research projects while providing constructive feedback.
• Experience in writing and researching for a business or professional audience.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and juggle tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proven capacity to make swift and informed decisions under tight deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for engaging directly with clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
• Familiarity with education trends.
• Strong command of the English language with demonstrated writing and editing capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven record of academic and professional accomplishment.
• High comfort level with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Relevant experience without a graduate degree or other degrees will also be considered.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of full-time work experience in research, survey design/analysis, or professional writing is strongly preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a management role is preferred.
• Experience in applied education research is preferred.
