This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement focused audience strategies across various buyer segments and stages in the lifecycle.
• Take charge of the content strategy and personally create website copy, blog entries, email nurturing content, and social media posts.
• Establish editorial standards for contractors and internal collaborators.
• Grow owned audiences and oversee engagement within buyer communities.
• Lead strategies for social media engagement and nurture executives, subject-matter experts, and customers into brand advocates.
• Direct the strategy for short-form, episodic, and event-capture video content while managing contractors.
• Design and oversee original research initiatives and Point of View programs.
• Obtain third-party citations, secure speaking opportunities, and create sales enablement resources.
• Manage the web content strategy to improve organic discovery and authority through SEO, AEO, GEO, third-party sources, earned media, and AI answer engines.
• Monitor social and community channels for insights that support product positioning, demand generation, and sales strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing teams to foster advocacy and build a qualified sales pipeline.
• Develop and oversee an AI-native content operational model utilizing agents, automated workflows, repurposing, and distribution while maintaining high human editorial standards.
• Establish hypothesis testing and performance metrics for marketing activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Over 8 years of experience in building audiences within B2B or media environments.
• At least 3 years of experience leading content and audience strategy at a senior individual contributor or director level.
• Proven track record of building and sustaining an audience or community from the ground up.
• Demonstrated expertise across various content formats, including both short-form and long-form video.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary organic discovery (SEO, AEO, GEO) and AI-driven answer engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews).
• Strong editorial judgment with the capability to convert research and expert insights into engaging, narrative-driven content.
• Proven ability to systematize AI in a content operation using agents, prompts, and workflows while ensuring high-quality, human-readable output.
• Capability to synthesize raw data signals from social listening, communities, and sales interactions into strategic insights.
• Ability to consistently work across multiple U.S. time zones.
• Occasional travel may be required for company events and customer interactions.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred: experience managing a successful newsletter, show, podcast, or community.
• Preferred: background in media, publishing, creator economy, or as an essential audience hire at a startup.
• Preferred: experience in learning, customer education, enablement, or technical practitioner sectors.
• Preferred: experience in enhancing organic and AI-answer visibility in competitive search categories.
• Preferred: marketing experience at a private equity-backed SaaS company.
• Preferred: proficiency in Google Suite.
