This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create clear and consistent UI text for labels, error messages, empty states, onboarding processes, tooltips, and other user interface elements.
• Oversee the design of information architecture and navigation for intricate product segments.
• Establish and uphold a unified terminology across multiple products.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to resolve naming discrepancies and facilitate lasting decisions.
• Develop content-driven guidelines and reusable design patterns.
• Design and sustain in-product guidance experiences, including walkthroughs and tours.
• Work together on design system standards to ensure compliant and reusable content patterns.
• Collaborate with design and research teams on usability studies and card sorting activities.
• Assist product designers by providing frameworks and AI-enhanced tools.
• Partner with product design, management, engineering, research, and marketing teams across security, observability, and platform products.
• A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience should include content design and UX writing practices.
• Experience in content design, UX writing, or a closely related field within complex software products.
• Strong proficiency in crafting UI text.
• Capability to think structurally regarding information architecture, taxonomy, and navigation.
• Proficiency in using Figma and working with design systems.
• Experience in fostering cross-functional alignment on terminology and naming decisions with stakeholders from product, marketing, and engineering.
• Familiarity with Magnetic or similar enterprise design systems is advantageous.
