Content Creator, Social Media Manager – German, French Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee Metricool’s German social media presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube targeting DACH audiences.

• Assist with Metricool’s French social media channels.

• Engage with the German and French communities by responding to comments and messages, overseeing discussions, and highlighting product inquiries and feedback.

• Translate English and Spanish posts into German and French, customizing hooks, examples, references, and calls to action.

• Schedule localized content using Metricool.

• Keep German and French editorial calendars in sync with the Social Media Team Leader and the global content strategy.

• Produce weekly short-form videos in German and monthly long-form YouTube videos; record in French if qualified.

• Modify scripts and review edits for language precision.

• Stay updated on local trends, formats, and competitors within DACH and French-speaking regions.

• Assist with German influencer campaigns and advertisements by reviewing content and language.

• Work collaboratively with Social Media, YouTube, Growth, and video editing teams.

• Act as the DACH liaison for the Content and Growth teams.

• Contribute ideas, insights, and best practices during brainstorming sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residing in Spain.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in content creation or social media management.

• Background in community management, or a strong interest in it.

• Experience in developing B2B or SaaS content for the German market is highly regarded.

• A degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or a related field is advantageous.

• Native German speaker with exceptional writing abilities.

• Proficient in English (C1 level).

• Proficiency in French is a significant advantage: native or high C1 for recording, or B2–C1 for community management and post adaptations.

• Strong German copywriting skills for social media, encompassing hooks, captions, calls to action, and comment responses.

• Confident on-camera presence in German.

• Experience with social media or YouTube recording is beneficial.

• Solid understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, including their formats and current trends.

• A portfolio showcasing posts, content examples, or managed social accounts is a plus.

• Demonstrated proactivity and initiative.

• Ability to work autonomously with sound judgment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills across two languages and three platforms.
