Content and SEO Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create engaging written content tailored for Local Hosting UK and its client accounts.

• Compose and publish blog posts, guides, and articles for the knowledge base.

• Develop and update product descriptions and website copy.

• Carry out keyword research and plan content accordingly.

• Execute on-page SEO strategies, including crafting titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and basic schema implementation.

• Oversee technical SEO aspects, such as indexing, crawl errors, broken links, and Core Web Vitals reporting.

• Write email and landing page content as per the brief provided by the Marketing Automation Specialist.

• Generate client-specific content that aligns with each client's unique tone of voice.

• Populate the knowledge base with the 30 most frequently asked support questions within the first 90 days.

• Manage a content calendar to produce four articles each month.

• Consistently revise product descriptions and eliminate placeholder text.

• Report directly to the Marketing Automation Specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in writing commercial content.

• Proficient in native-level written UK English.

• Familiarity with WordPress publishing, media management, categories, and Yoast or Rank Math tools.

• Experience with SEMrush or Ahrefs for conducting keyword and competitor research.

• Proficient in Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.

• Ability to communicate topics related to hosting, domains, DNS, and SSL in simple terms for non-technical audiences.

• Availability to work during UK business hours.

• Participation in mandatory daily stand-up meetings, lasting approximately 20–30 minutes via Slack.

• Camera must remain ON during all meetings.

• Must maintain a stable, high-speed internet connection.

• Submission of two writing samples of 500+ words, including at least one on a technical or B2B topic.

• Confirmation that writing samples are original work and disclosure of any AI tools used in their creation.
