Consumer Insights Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate POS and syndicated data to guide campaign strategies and measure post-campaign effectiveness.

• Act as a point of contact with external research vendors, ensuring prompt delivery and clear interpretation of program outcomes.

• Create client-ready analyses and presentations that provide clear insights and actionable recommendations.

• Assist the Sales team by delivering data-driven insights for client meetings, pitches, and engagements.

• Address ad hoc insight requests and serve as a valuable data resource for internal stakeholders.

• Convert complex data into straightforward, actionable insights for CPG marketing initiatives across in-store and digital platforms.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree is necessary; a Business degree is preferred, with quantitative or analytic disciplines being advantageous.

• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, shopper marketing, or marketing analytics is required.

• A background in working with and presenting insights to internal stakeholders and/or clients is highly beneficial.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and pivot tables are essential.

• Proficient in PowerPoint with the capability to produce clear and compelling, client-ready presentations.

• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to manage and analyze extensive datasets.

• Capability to distill complex information into concise, actionable insights.

• Excellent presentation abilities with the confidence to address questions clearly and effectively.

• Adaptability in communication style for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results punctually.

• Skill in applying logic to analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide informed advice or consultation.

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
