This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create assessment and service solutions, which encompass architecture reviews, optimization engagements, technology health checks, deployment services, cyber resiliency assessments, hybrid cloud evaluations, AI readiness assessments, and advisory services.
• Work closely with customers, delivery teams, field Solution Architects, internal sales, and NetApp to offer consultative support and strategize sales approaches.
• Draft statements of work (SOWs).
• Collect business and technical requirements and convert them into solution architectures, recommendations, bills of material (BOMs), proposals, and service scopes.
• Design and promote NetApp solutions across ONTAP-based storage, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, cloud storage, data services, and AI data infrastructure.
• Evaluate technical and competitive factors, outline sales-cycle actions, identify long-term objectives, and formulate outcome-oriented solutions.
• Act as a national subject matter expert and technical escalation point for intricate, strategic, and multi-region NetApp opportunities.
• Sustain strategic relationships with customers, internal sales and delivery management, field technical teams, and NetApp.
• Uphold key strategic partner relationships by obtaining and maintaining a minimum of five relevant partner technical certifications.
• Support national NetApp growth strategies, go-to-market plans, solution plays, services development, and partner investment priorities.
• Contribute to marketing-sanctioned customer events, presentations, blog posts, online publications, and social media initiatives.
• Drive outreach efforts, technical enablement projects, workshops, coaching, and mentoring activities.
• Create reusable reference architectures, best practices, technical materials, enablement content, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate across cloud, compute, networking, security, virtualization, AI, consulting, and professional services teams to produce integrated multi-vendor solutions and assist in the transition to delivery.
• Represent CDW in NetApp and industry engagements, including executive briefings, partner events, technical forums, conferences, and collaborative business activities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7 years in a technical, pre-sales, consulting, architecture, or post-sale delivery role; or 11 years in a technical, pre-sales, consulting, architecture, or post-sale delivery role.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise storage, data management, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and AI infrastructure.
• Strong comprehension of NetApp architecture, products, technologies, and solutions, including ONTAP and associated data services.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales, services, delivery, partner, and technical teams.
• Ability to lead technical conversations, influence decision-making, and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Excellent communication, presentation, discovery, and facilitation skills.
• Proficient in designing and articulating comprehensive solutions that address customer needs and business challenges.
• Skilled in analyzing complex issues, identifying suitable options, building consensus, and bridging technical gaps.
• Experience in developing assessments, roadmaps, proposals, SOWs, BOMs, and consulting-driven recommendations.
• Ability to link technical decisions to customer outcomes and support growth in products, software, subscriptions, and services.
• Competence in managing competing priorities across a broad coverage model and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% or as required.
• Current NetApp technical certifications relevant to the role and CDW partner expectations are an advantage.
• Experience in architecting NetApp solutions in enterprise, hybrid cloud, virtualization, container, data protection, cyber resiliency, and AI infrastructure environments is a plus.
• Background in supporting strategic enterprise accounts and complex, multi-practice or multi-million-dollar opportunities is a plus.
• Experience in consulting or professional services, including assessment development and services scoping, is a plus.
• Experience in delivering national field enablement, reusable solution assets, partner programs, or go-to-market strategies is a plus.
• Annual bonus target of 25%, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
