This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Launch the Psychiatry Service Line at Allara Health.
• Create clinical protocols addressing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD, incorporating medication management and therapeutic approaches.
• Design protocols for behavioral health safety and escalation procedures.
• Establish a hiring rubric and assessment framework for PMHNP candidates.
• Engage in initial interviews for PMHNP roles alongside the clinical team.
• Manage a panel of patients, dedicating 50% of post-launch time to patient care.
• Oversee PMHNPs in their clinical practice.
• Offer case consultations to enhance patient care.
• Assist with ad-hoc escalations as necessary.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations leadership to create psychiatric care infrastructure.
• Current board certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP).
• Active, unrestricted medical license in California, Florida, New York, or Texas; an IMLC license may be accepted if willing to obtain a valid state license.
• At least 5 years of post-residency clinical experience as a practicing psychiatrist, with a focus on outpatient care.
• Proven experience in treating depression, anxiety, and PMDD, particularly at the intersection of hormonal and mental health.
• Experience supervising or working collaboratively with PMHNPs or other advanced practice providers.
• Capability to translate clinical rigor into scalable protocols, safety standards, and hiring frameworks.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients in a virtual environment.
• Proficient in using EMR, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling platforms.
• Prior experience in telehealth or high-growth care delivery settings is preferred.
• Experience in designing behavioral health safety and escalation protocols is preferred.
