📋 Description

• Initiate Allara's Psychiatry Service Line.

• Create clinical protocols for managing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD, encompassing medication management and therapeutic approaches.

• Develop behavioral health safety and escalation guidelines.

• Establish a hiring rubric and assessment framework for PMHNP candidates.

• Engage in initial interviews for PMHNP candidates alongside the clinical team.

• Manage a patient panel post-launch, dedicating 50% of time to direct patient care.

• Oversee PMHNPs in their practice.

• Offer case consultations as needed.

• Assist with ad-hoc escalations.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and operations leadership to build the psychiatric-care infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current board certification in Psychiatry from ABPN or AOBNP.

• Valid, unrestricted medical license in California, Florida, New York, or Texas; IMLC license may be accepted if willing to obtain a qualifying state license.

• At least 5 years of post-residency clinical experience as a practicing psychiatrist, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Proven experience in treating depression, anxiety, and PMDD, particularly at the intersection of hormonal and mental health.

• Experience supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs or other advanced practice providers.

• Capability to create scalable protocols, safety standards, and hiring frameworks.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver empathetic, evidence-based virtual care.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
