This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Assess extensive revenue cycle processes to improve financial outcomes and minimize revenue loss for hospitals and healthcare systems.
β’ Design and execute best practices for revenue cycle management, ensuring adherence to regulations and enhancing operational efficiency.
β’ Take the initiative to lead and manage teams in delivering intricate performance improvement projects.
β’ Foster collaborative, high-achieving work environments; tackle challenges, eliminate obstacles, and guarantee successful client results.
β’ Oversee the financial aspects of engagements, including budgeting, invoicing, and billing processes.
β’ Measure financial and operational advantages, recognize risks to expected results, and devise solutions for data discrepancies or threats.
β’ Grasp client challenges, formulate tailored solutions, manage expectations, and present compelling presentations and proposals.
β’ Cultivate relationships while guiding complex change processes and influencing transformation in intricate environments.
β’ Define roles, assemble teams, mentor and coach staff, and oversee performance management.
β’ Establish and nurture professional networks while identifying opportunities for business development.
β’ Collaborate with senior leaders from Huron and clients to design and implement complex, sustainable solutions.
β’ Develop lasting client relationships and pursue networking, business development, and sales opportunities.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
β’ Over 8 years of healthcare consulting experience related to revenue cycle management.
β’ Willingness to travel based on client, enterprise, or project requirements; current average travel within the Healthcare practice is under 50% annually.
β’ Relevant experience in hospital revenue cycle, either directing a department and/or leading team projects focused on process re-engineering/performance improvement, or project leadership and workplan management within a consulting firm related to hospital or physician revenue cycle, denials management, or patient access services.
β’ Strong leadership and management abilities aligned with Huronβs core values and competencies.
β’ Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
β’ Capability to train and engage in the professional development of Huron staff in project management and technical areas.
β’ Ability to contribute to various projects of differing scales and durations.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
β’ Direct supervisory experience overseeing individuals and teams.
β’ Preferred background in a matrixed organization.
β’ US Work Authorization is required.
β’ Must complete all assigned courses and compliance training as instructed.
