This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Oversee the enhancement of the medication management system utilizing both clinical and technical expertise.
• Engage extensively with clients, building relationships at the Director and key stakeholder levels.
• Collect customer requirements and establish best practices, design choices, and relevant policies and procedures.
• Execute necessary tasks to ensure timely upgrade implementations and customer satisfaction.
• Exhibit understanding of pharmacy and clinical workflows, integration of hospital and pharmacy systems, clinical device configurations, interface validation, user account role design, and Active Directory.
• Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for proactive enhancements as an advocate for the customer.
• Troubleshoot and provide consultation on pharmacy workflows, best practices, and standardization within health systems.
• Enhance customer upgrade experiences by improving efficiency and consistency.
• Share insights gained and feedback from the field for ongoing improvement.
• Assist in knowledge transfer and onboarding initiatives.
• Advocate for standardized delivery methodologies and operational consistency across upgrade projects.
• Mentor consultants and aid in the development of team capabilities and organizational knowledge.
• Keep accurate and current project documentation.
• Build relationships with sales and service teams during the pre-sale and post-upgrade phases.
• Create collaborative working relationships with cross-functional project teams and customer teams.
• An associate degree is preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
• Proficiency in HIS/PIS systems and knowledge of pharmacy and nursing workflows.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting with technical (systems) involvement and computerized system applications.
• Experience with integrated delivery networks or large health systems is mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include RPh and Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Capability to push, pull, stoop, bend, and lift as required.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
• Must adhere to BD's auto safety standards.
• Upon hiring, proof of current immunizations and any additional facility-required immunizations must be provided and maintained.
• Required immunization documentation includes Hepatitis B, current-year Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD, and Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis.
• Ability to work independently from a home office.
• Willingness to travel between 25% to 75%, including overnight trips.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including some evenings and weekends.

• Must comply with relevant BD policies, procedures, administrative tasks, and applicable regulatory requirements.
