Consultant – Process Safety Management, PSM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in managing operational risk and enhancing process safety across the oil and gas, chemicals, and similar sectors.

• Assist in client evaluations, workshops, analyses, and initiatives aimed at improvement.

• Collaborate closely with client teams to implement effective and lasting solutions.

• Assess risk management frameworks, process safety management systems, and operational controls.

• Support major hazard risk assessments, gap analyses, audits, and performance enhancement programs.

• Examine operational data to uncover opportunities for improving safety and operational efficiency.

• Create high-quality deliverables, including reports and presentations for clients.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to achieve measurable outcomes for clients.

• Develop expertise in operational risk management, process safety, operational excellence, and consulting methodologies.

• Partner with organizations in high-risk and asset-intensive sectors to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Extensive hands-on experience in Operational Risk Management, Process Safety, Process Safety Management (PSM), or Major Accident Hazard Management in the oil & gas, chemicals, or petrochemicals sectors.

• Experience in upstream, midstream, downstream, LNG, petrochemical, or refinery operations.

• Strong grasp of operational risk assessment methodologies and risk management systems, such as HAZOP and HAZID.

• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks regarding process safety and operational risk management.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa is essential.

• Willingness to travel within Indonesia and regionally as necessary.

• Prior management consulting experience is preferred.

• Experience in supporting transformation, operational improvement, or safety performance initiatives is beneficial.

• Familiarity with client-facing projects and workshop facilitation is advantageous.

• International project experience is preferred.

• Must have the legal authorization to work in the country for which you are applying.

• Must indicate whether visa sponsorship is required.
