Consultant, Citrix/Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assess current Citrix infrastructures and devise strategies for optimization and modernization.

• Provide guidance to clients on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS, and Citrix Cloud services, including NetScaler.

• Create architectural concepts for hybrid and cloud-native Citrix environments on Azure.

• Facilitate customer workshops and deliver technical presentations.

• Design and implement Citrix solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and Azure environments.

• Transition existing Citrix setups to the Azure cloud, encompassing Citrix Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop.

• Integrate Citrix with Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Security services.

• Set up Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Gateway, and StoreFront configurations.

• Offer technical support as part of Citrix managed services.

• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize production Citrix environments.

• Execute updates, patches, and upgrades.

• Provide second- and third-level support for intricate technical challenges.

• Assess new Citrix and Azure features and evaluate their applicability for clients.

• Develop and maintain documentation of best practices.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers.

• Formulate and implement Citrix best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a similar qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration).

• Multiple years of professional experience as an IT consultant, preferably with a focus on Citrix technologies.

• Extensive knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud/DaaS.

• Proficient in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and PowerShell.

• Excellent written and spoken skills in both German (C1 or C2) and English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
