Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and consultations for both emergency department and inpatient teams.

• Provide remote consultative psychiatric care across various hospital systems.

• Assist in inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room environments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to enhance access to behavioral health services.

• Supervise Nurse Practitioners.

• Commit to working 13–16 shifts monthly, which includes 3–4 weekend shifts.

• Treat patients across all age groups.

• Engage in quality improvement projects.

• Utilize AI-enhanced systems and advanced tools to optimize workflows and enhance patient care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active medical license in Georgia.

• Residency in Georgia is necessary for this position.

• Must be located within the United States or a U.S. territory.

• Board Certification is mandatory.

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry providing telehealth consultations.

• Experience in offering psychiatric consultations in inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room settings is essential.

• Telehealth experience is a requirement.

• Must be willing to supervise Nurse Practitioners.

• Should be comfortable working across different health systems and with varying acuity levels.

• Preferred experience in treating patients aged 5 and above.

• Strong preference for candidates with Epic experience.
