Construction Site Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Engage in initial project discussions with clients to grasp their vision and budgetary limits.

• Leverage historical project data to create schedules of values that align with client expectations.

• Enhance and refine the job costing database.

• Collaborate in the development of project scopes.

• Facilitate the bid solicitation process.

• Develop scopes in conjunction with clients and design teams for subcontractor bidding and final contracts.

• Generate quantity takeoffs for framing, siding, hardware, and other elements of the project.

• Create preliminary project schedules, timelines, and milestones.

• Draft agreements and contracts for subcontractors.

• Oversee the subcontractor buyout process.

• Establish and maintain databases for subcontractors.

• Compile and organize pricing lists for project materials and services.

• Participate in pre-construction kickoff meetings with subcontractors, clients, and project managers.

• Manage the internal project handoff to the construction team.

• Oversee permitting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and manage project budgets.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure construction project budgets are aligned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Project Management or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Willingness to work in non-traditional office environments and travel to project sites as needed.

• Ability to work diligently, occasionally during irregular hours, and readiness to travel long distances.

• Proficient in coordinating and communicating effectively with all building trades.

• Demonstrated experience in framing along with comprehensive knowledge of construction from start to finish.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

• Personable demeanor with a firm yet approachable leadership style.

• Excellent professional communication skills and capability to effectively motivate staff.

• Proficiency in PlanSwift Software is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic project management software tools.
