Construction Project Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in overseeing daily operations across active construction sites, which includes scheduling, site coordination, documentation, and vendor management.

• Provide support to senior Construction Managers in project tracking, contractor communications, RFI logs, and submittal reviews.

• Monitor the progress of construction and assist in identifying risks, delays, or quality issues, escalating concerns to project leadership as necessary.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as engineering, procurement, and operations.

• Engage with external partners including general contractors, vendors, and consultants.

• Participate in site walks, inspections, and the creation of punch-lists.

• Assist in budgeting and cost tracking activities, which includes reviewing invoices and change orders.

• Help maintain accurate records, drawings, closeout documentation, and as-built documents.

• Ensure that safety practices and site protocols are adhered to in line with Crusoe’s standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably with exposure to critical facilities.

• Understanding of fundamental construction processes including scheduling, procurement, and documentation.

• Proficient in reading construction drawings and interpreting specifications.

• Experience collaborating with general contractors and trade partners.

• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or other similar construction management platforms.

• Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive, solution-driven approach.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
