Construction Project Manager – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of new client initiation and construction projects from the planning stage to completion.

• Collaborate directly with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, equipment suppliers, physicists, building owners, and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress, quality, timelines, and adherence to project specifications.

• Ensure that projects stay on track and within the approved budget whenever feasible.

• Examine construction plans, drawings, specifications, and project documentation for precision.

• Supervise contractor bidding, project scheduling, equipment delivery, installation, and facility readiness.

• Assist in site preparation tasks, including equipment deliveries and installation support.

• Provide consistent project status updates to customers, leadership, and operations teams.

• Support quality assurance initiatives and ongoing process improvement efforts.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, contractors, and customers.

• Uphold the confidentiality of business operations, project details, and customer information.

• Aid in the onboarding and training of new personnel as required.

• Travel frequently to customer construction sites across the Western U.S.

• Act as the primary coordinator for healthcare facility construction and renovation projects that support customer expansion initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure timely completion.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and project plans.

• Skilled in managing project budgets, timelines, and documentation.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Professional demeanor with the ability to handle challenges, conflicts, and shifting priorities.

• Comfortable interacting with physicians, healthcare professionals, and executive-level stakeholders.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively.

• Background in healthcare construction or medical facility projects.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

• Experience managing multi-phase renovation or healthcare infrastructure projects.

• Must reside in Phoenix, AZ or the surrounding area.

• Ability to safely navigate active construction sites.

• Capability to stand and walk for extended durations during site visits.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, reach, and move equipment as necessary.

• Willingness to travel by car and commercial airlines.

• Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Capacity to work safely around construction, electrical, magnetic, and ionizing radiation environments.
