Construction Manager – EPC Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the installation of DI equipment is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

• Act as a representative of PowerSecure at the project site.

• Supervise all construction activities.

• Be present for every equipment delivery.

• Manage subcontractors and internal resources effectively.

• Interact with customers, utilities, and local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

• Maintain a safe and healthy worksite in line with company standards, procedures, and legal regulations.

• Organize and facilitate daily safety briefings with contractors and company personnel.

• Coordinate and lead project meetings involving customers, utilities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

• Comprehend all project aspects and oversee installation processes.

• Ensure that project sites are organized and adhere to housekeeping standards.

• Collaborate with relevant parties to ensure timely execution of projects.

• Communicate with senior management to guarantee projects are installed safely, on time, and within budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction; experience in the energy sector is preferred.

• Proficient in reading and communicating in English.

• Skilled in using computers and standard office software.

• Capable of reading and interpreting construction documents.

• Must be punctual, organized, and maintain a professional demeanor.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating with general contractors, subcontractors, customers, utilities, and AHJs.

• Knowledgeable in construction management and processes.

• Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency while ensuring high quality and customer service.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be capable of working in various positions, including low to the ground or on a ladder.

• Willingness and ability to drive a company vehicle and/or fly commercially if required.

• Must be able to stand or walk for 3 to 4 hours at a time.

• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions, with noise, energized electrical equipment, overhead hazards, and heavy machinery present.
