This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +13 more states.
• Spearhead strategic outreach initiatives via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to engage industry stakeholders and obtain valuable, non-public information on commercial construction projects.
• Articulate the advantages of Dodge’s data network and project information sharing to both current and prospective sources.
• Showcase Dodge tools and data functionalities, including Dodge One.
• Foster and nurture relationships with contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, public agencies, and other difficult-to-reach industry participants.
• Execute site visits, attend industry events, and participate in association meetings to enhance intelligence pipelines.
• Identify, assess, and cultivate new project sources within the designated territory.
• Analyze and interpret construction documents, client communications, and project information.
• Oversee and maintain project data using internal tools and systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex or unclear data discrepancies while documenting verification processes.
• Identify trends in data quality, determine root causes, propose and implement solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze trends at the territory level, explore sourcing opportunities, and evaluate conversion rates, presenting strategic insights.
• Provide insights regarding source behavior, project trends, and workflow challenges to facilitate process improvements.
• Maintain a balance of productivity, quality, and strategic priorities in a metrics-driven setting.
• Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success teams to address significant client inquiries.
• Develop, refine, and disseminate best practices for outreach, source development, and intelligence gathering.
• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, KY, ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, or CT.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not currently or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in outreach, research, customer engagement, or data operations roles.
• At least 5 years of experience within the commercial construction sector.
• In-depth understanding of the construction ecosystem, encompassing contractors, owners, architects, subcontractors, project lifecycle, and bid and award processes.
• Ability to independently manage priorities, evaluate information, and drive results.
• Competency in analyzing data, identifying patterns and trends, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions.
• Proficient in analyzing territory and source funnel data, conversion rates, and presenting findings to leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to influence stakeholders and convey complex findings effectively.
• Skill in tailoring value-proposition messaging and addressing objections through consultative, value-selling techniques.
• Proficient in independently conducting in-person engagements, including site visits, industry events, and association meetings.
• Ability to demonstrate Dodge tools and data capabilities, including Dodge One.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to learn and apply Dodge tools and systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
• Familiarity with construction project data, plan rooms, or bid management platforms is preferred.
• Preference for candidates with knowledge of the assigned territory’s active markets and industry connections.
• Strong understanding of the phases of commercial construction projects, bid and award processes, and multi-stakeholder project structures is preferred.
• Experience in a performance-driven environment is preferred.
