This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform conflict of interest searches for attorneys and administrative personnel utilizing internal systems and external research databases.

• Input, assess, analyze, and maintain conflict and new matter information in accordance with firm policies and procedures.

• Examine workflow requests to ensure that submissions include essential information for processing.

• Investigate individuals and corporate entities to uncover relationships and potential conflicts.

• Assess conflicts reports for accuracy and completeness, identify potential issues, and resolve conflicts when applicable.

• Identify unresolved or significant issues and escalate them while following up with attorneys and management.

• Review and process documentation for new client and matter intake prior to initiation.

• Address conflict check inquiries and provide system and status support to firm personnel.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing and adherence to deadlines.

• Participate in periodic after-hours/weekend on-call shifts at the discretion of the General Counsel's Office.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of three years of conflict experience in the legal sector is preferred.

• A J.D. degree is an advantage.

• Prior experience with Aderant and/or Intapp is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of legal conflicts and associated ethical standards.

• Good judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential information.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and complete them under time constraints.

• Competence to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established timelines and ongoing deadlines.

• Willingness to seek and accept guidance while taking ownership of and resolving issues.

• Dedication to skill development and continuous enhancement of work quality.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and professionally with attorneys, staff, and colleagues at all levels.

• Demonstrated customer-service orientation and professionalism in a legal or professional-services setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.

• Strong computer, research, and proofreading skills.
