This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Perform conflict of interest searches for attorneys and administrative personnel utilizing both internal systems and external research databases.
• Input, review, analyze, and manage conflict and new matter data in compliance with firm policies and procedures.
• Examine workflow requests to ensure they include essential information for processing.
• Investigate individual and corporate entities to uncover relationships and potential conflicts.
• Assess conflicts reports for precision and completeness, identify potential issues, and clear conflicts as necessary.
• Elevate unresolved or significant matters and follow up with attorneys or management.
• Evaluate and process new client and matter intake documentation prior to commencement.
• Address conflict check inquiries and offer system and status support to firm personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to process requests efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Participate in periodic after-hours/weekend on-call shifts as directed by the General Counsel's Office.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of three years of conflicts experience in the legal sector is preferred.
• A J.D. is an advantage.
• Previous experience with Aderant and/or Intapp is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of legal conflicts and associated ethical regulations.
• Good judgment and discretion in managing confidential information.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within time constraints.
• Competence to perform effectively with moderate supervision while adhering to established time limits and ongoing deadlines.
• Willingness to seek and accept direction while taking ownership of and resolving issues.
• Commitment to ongoing skill development and consistent enhancement of work quality.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and professionally with attorneys, staff, and colleagues at all levels.
• Proven customer service orientation and professionalism in a legal or professional services context.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong computer, research, and proofreading abilities.
